In October, a number of volunteers attended a hedge laying class offered by CMS.

Pleaching the stems.

Add upright stakes to support the hedge.

Bind along the top using long thin hazel rods known as binders or weavers.

After the course we applied our new knowledge in Carpenters Wood.
